Girl band SISTAR will disband after wrapping up their engagements late this month.
“The members of SISTAR decided to part their own ways at the end of this month when their contracts end,” their management agency said in a press release earlier this week.
Debuted in 2010, SISTAR enjoyed huge popularity with their sexy and healthy looks.
“We are about to start the second chapter of our career on our own. We will continue to strive to show our best to our fans,” wrote Hyo-lyn, leader of SISTAR.
Hyo-lyn and So-you are likely to continue their singing careers as solo singers, while Bo-ra and Da-som are expected to switch to acting.
